Terms of Use

Last updated: October 17, 2026

In one paragraph

Buy MinoSSH from the Mac App Store and you may use it on the Macs your Apple ID allows. It connects to servers you are entitled to access — that part is on you. The app comes as-is, without a warranty, and we are not responsible for what happens on the machines you connect to.

1. Agreement

These terms apply to the MinoSSH application for macOS and to this website. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app is licensed, not sold, through the Mac App Store. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your copy; where these terms and Apple's standard EULA differ, Apple's EULA governs the licence itself.

2. Your licence

You may install and use MinoSSH on Macs that you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store rules for your Apple ID. You may not:

  • redistribute, resell, rent or sublicense the app;
  • reverse engineer or decompile it, except where the law says you may;
  • remove copyright or attribution notices from it.

3. Your servers, your responsibility

MinoSSH is a client. It connects to servers that you configure, and it performs the commands you type and the file operations you request — including destructive ones such as deleting files or changing permissions recursively.

You are responsible for having permission to access those servers, and for the consequences of what you run on them. There is no undo. A recursive permission change or a delete confirmation you accept is carried out as asked.

4. No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every SSH server implementation.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss — including lost data, lost profits or server downtime — arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

5. Privacy

The app collects nothing. What it stores locally, and what it sends over the network, is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Updates and changes

Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store and may add, change or remove features. These terms may be updated with a new version of the app; the date above changes when they do. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.

7. Support and refunds

Support is provided by email at gavy417@gmail.com on a reasonable-effort basis. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple; see the support page for how to request one.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms go to gavy417@gmail.com.
